5 He fought with the king of the Ammonites and conquered them. That year the Ammonites paid him one hundred talents of silver, together with ten thousand kors of wheat and ten thousand of barley. They brought the same to him also in the second and in the third year. 6 Thus Jotham continued to grow strong because he made sure to walk before the Lord, his God. 7 (A)The rest of the acts of Jotham, his wars and his activities, are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
